Hey there, cool cats! I’ve just been digging this hilarious album from Recess Monkey.  Their jazzy, fast-paced music makes me want to dance, and you won’t be able to sit still, either. The lead singer has a very bouncy, expressive voice that’s backed by electric guitars, strong drum beats, and a catchy bass line. These guys are great at inventing funny animals, like the joke-telling “Knocktopus” and the fearsome “Centipede Pirate.” The last track is a sweet song called “Firefly Lullaby.” It’s the perfect, slow ending to an album of danceable, sing-a-long songs.
