I've always loved the traditional counting song, "Over in the Meadow," but this is my new favorite version. The bright illustrations and the different textures (fabrics, playing cards, lacy paper) make me so excited for spring! From the bumpy mother toad and her little toadie one, to the hairy mother spider and her little spiders ten, this book will have you laughing and singing.
