The Cat Who Walked Across France

I have never been to France, but I felt like I traveled there after reading The Cat Who Walked Across France. France is a country that has many things that I love-the ocean, mountains, cities, and peaceful countryside. This book shows you all of these places in France, and it tells an amazing story, too. It's about a cat who must leave his home by the sea after his owner dies, a kind old lady. He goes on a very long journey until he feels ready to come home, to a little stone house by the sea. While the cat wanders through France, he's lonely and tired. But it helps him to see all of these beautiful places, because it makes him feel better about missing his friend the old lady.
I know The Cat Who Walked Across France sounds a little sad, but the book turns out to be happy after all. After I shut the book, I went and gave Ladybug and Thud a big Muddle hug and told them if I ever walked across France, I would certainly come back to see them.
