Cloudette

Cloudette

Tom Lichtenheld

Christy Ottaviano Books, 2011

I know just what it's like to feel small! Have you seen my friends? Thud can reach the cookies way up in the cupboard, and Muddle can pick apples right off the branches of the apple tree, but I have to ask for help. Sometimes it feels like I can't do anything on my own. Cloudette, a tiny cloud, feels the same way. All the other clouds are much bigger than her, and they get to do cool cloud things, like making thunderstorms and watering crops and filling rushing rivers right to the brim. But what can Cloudette do?

One day, Cloudette gets blown far, far away by a particularly big thunderstorm. As she's busy making new friends, she hears a tiny, "Ribbit." It's a frog, sitting in a big dried circle of dirt. His pond is all dried up! Is Cloudette big enough to help?

Parents, you can buy Cloudette here.
